Voiceprints, inside your company
Enroll a voice once and that person is named in every meeting after. Voiceprints are stored locally on your box. Planned backups would encrypt them under a customer-held key, so they would not be shared with us or anyone outside your company in readable form.
Connect your own AI
Note Admin speaks MCP, the open standard AI assistants use to read tools. Point the assistant your team already uses at your meetings and ask it questions.
Processed locally
The box processes conversations on site. Long recordings and burst uploads enter a queue and can take longer; simultaneous submissions are supported.
Record from anywhere
Android and iPhone apps plus the browser. The phone holds on to each recording until the box confirms it is safely stored.

Join the setup WiFi printed on the sticker on the box and pick your WiFi from the page that opens.
Install the app or open the Portal
Connect with the box ID and pairing code on the card in the box, then sign in. You do this once on each phone, tablet or computer.

- Away from the office. Apps and the browser reach your box through our relay at noteadmin.com. No VPN, no port forwarding.
- Updates. Delivered automatically from us; an update may briefly interrupt access.
- Backups. Planned for launch: customer-key encrypted backup and recovery; not available yet. The customer holds the Recovery Code, and we cannot decrypt a backup without it.
- If you stop continued support after year one. Remote access, updates and support end, and the box keeps working on your office network. Hardware replacement is extra.

The short version.
Do I need an IT person?
No. Power, ethernet, scan the code. The box connects out to us on its own, so there's nothing to configure on your network.
What should I record?
Note Admin is for recording meetings and conversations, not continuous all-day recording. Tell participants and follow the consent laws that apply where you record.
How long does processing take?
Processing time varies. Long recordings and burst uploads enter the queue and can take longer. Simultaneous submissions are supported, but they do not all finish at the same time.
Is backup and recovery available?
Planned for launch: customer-key encrypted backup and recovery; not available yet. The customer holds the Recovery Code. We cannot decrypt a backup without that code. Hardware replacement is extra.
Which AI assistants can connect?
Any customer-chosen AI assistant that supports MCP (Model Context Protocol), such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor. You choose the assistant and control what it can see.
Is it legal to record meetings?
In California and several other states everyone in the room has to know. The app shows a notice on the record screen; telling people is on you.
